Lovable Labels Review & Giveaway!

I was contacted earlier this spring to review an awesome Camp Pack from Lovable Labels. The pack included:

  • 15 Sticker Labels
  • 40 Slimline Labels
  • 12 Shoe Labels
  • 72 Press n' Stick Clothing DOTS™
  • 2 Mini-Metal Tags {two 4” silver ball chains incld}
  • 12 Square Labels

And, I was able to choose which design I thought my daughter would most enjoy. I was very impressed when the pack arrived. It seemed like A LOT of stuff! Between school, the babysitter’s house, gymnastics, swim class, tee-ball, my kids are in a lot of activities and take a lot of stuff a lot of places. So, this was perfect!

Now, I can label all of my daughter’s belongings, with cute tags! I am especially excited about the clothing dots and shoe labels. She really loved the mini-metal tags, which are perfect for her backpack. The labels are all high-quality and really stay put.

This product is valued at $44.95 before taxes and shipping and seems to be worth every penny, to me. My daughter is already asking to label all of her kindergarten supplies for next fall!

In addition to providing me with a pack to review, Lovable Labels has graciously allowed me to giveaway a Camp Pack to one lucky Market Mommy winner!

Good luck, here are the official rules::

Product Review:: Jamberry Nails

Let me preface this by saying that I am a nail biter and have been for years. I can never seem to let my natural nails grow. But, for some reason in the last couple of months my nails have grown longer than they have been maybe ever.

So, I thought it was a perfect opportunity to try Jamberry Nails! Jamberry is a new direct selling company that is quickly growing. Their products allow you to decorate your nails with attractive designs that last around two weeks on your fingernails and four to six weeks on your toes!

The first thing I was immediately attracted to was the large selection of designs. They are available in about every color combination you can imagine. If you have a certain outfit or special occasion you are looking to coordinate with, chances are you’ll find the perfect match!

Representative Angelic Moore let me choose a design {Colorful Polka!} and sent them out right away. I had a terrible time deciding which to choose! The nails came with instructions, but she offered several other helpful suggestions on how to best apply them. She also forwarded me a great You Tube video that offered some extra tips.

It took a little getting used to, mostly I think, because I had to trim them quite a bit for my short nails. But, after I got the hang of it, it seemed pretty easy. I applied the Jamberry nails to my index fingers and used a bright pink nail polish to coordinate my other fingers.

I thought they looked pretty good!

I’ve worn the nail shields for over a week and they haven’t lifted or moved at all. They still look great. I am considering removing them soon, but only because my pink polish has began to chip.

I’m really looking forward to trying my toes next!

Market Mommy is hosting a virtual party! Simply visit Angelic’s site here to order, and choose Market Mommy’s party at checkout. You can also visit her on Facebook for the latest Jamberry news!

Product Review:: Thirty-one Clutch

I was recently provided with a Five Pocket Clutch from Amber Davis and Thirty-one gifts to review. As an on-the-go mom, I’m always in need of something that will make my life simpler and more organized. The clutch has been a welcome addition for that reason.

The clutch has worked perfectly for filling and then throwing in my gym bag. On most days it holds my Kindle, ear phones, keys, my cell phone and other odds and ends. I toss it in my gym bag and when my clothes and bag stay in my locker, the clutch and its contents go with me to the elliptical.

The clutch has five pockets, so it’s easy to keep organized. My phone goes in one place, the Kindle in another and the earphones in yet another. When I need to grab something I know exactly where it is.

The clutch is roomy, too. For most intents and purposes, this is a good thing. However, I think it is just a tad too big to be used with the wristlet strap. I prefer to carry it as an actual clutch, under my arm or in my hand. That’s the only downside, if you even consider that a downside, that I’ve experienced.

As you can see, mine is in the Black Parisian Pop fabric. It’s modern and attractive and since it’s black and white, coordinates with almost anything. The fabric choices are one of my favorite things about Thirty-one products. They really do look great. And, the clutch has been holding up great. It shows no signs of wear and tear from the past couple of months of being used regularly.

I’m thrilled with my new clutch, just like I have been with the other products from Thirty-one that I own.

If you’re interested in purchasing any Thirty-one gifts or perhaps joining a team to earn some extra income, contact Davis! She’s featured in our 2011 Holiday Gift Guide, too!

Little Looster:: A Product Review

We’ve had the Little Looster at our house for the past few months and it’s been a welcome addition! It isn’t just your typical stool. And, I admit when it first arrived it looked rather large. But, I quickly realized that it really is a space saver.

Inventor and mom, Monica Mylet, created the Looster to curb many of the problems that occur with potty training. “Along with the need to offer children support, confidence and comfort while on the loo, I wanted to create a product that would not be in the way for adult use, easily cleaned and space saving,” said Mylet.

She’s accomplished all of this and more. The Looster easily fits directly around the base of the toilet and is not in the way for us bigger kids. It wipes clean easily and of course offers a comfortable resting place for those little legs while using the potty.  It really is just an extension of the toilet.

There is no need to keep pushing it around the bathroom, causing a tripping hazard. It just stays put. It’s also great for middle of the night trips to the bathroom because it keeps sleepy ones steady while sitting on the potty.

Mylet did what many other aspiring mom entrepreneurs set out to do. She saw a clear need and worked to develop a solution for it. The Little Looster took three years to design and perfect, but she stuck with it until she created exactly what she had envisioned.

The Little Looster would make a great addition to any little one’s bathroom. We highly recommend it. In fact, so do many others. It was named a Gold Medal Winner in 2011 by the National Parenting Publications Awards. Visit the Little Looster website for more information!

Product Review:: Kid’s Personalized Music

Kid’s Personalized Music was one of our fantastic sponsors during our 2nd Birthday Extravaganza in June. Just recently, Victoria sent me a personalized children's CD to review. I chose the ‘You're a Winner’ CD for my son who has just entered kindergarten.

I thought this CD would be appropriate because it encourages character building and the importance of respect for others. The song list includes “You’re a Winner” and “You’ve Got Friends” which I thought were good titles, especially for a young child trying to build confidence in kindergarten.

When I received the CD, I wasn’t disappointed. It was personalized with my son’s name on the front and says his name nearly 80 times throughout the CD. I was also allowed to personalize the front of the CD with a personal message from his Daddy and I. This will be a special keepsake for my son to treasure.

The CD sounds great and the songs are fun and engaging. When he got the CD, my son played it immediately and he’s played it probably 25 times in the last week. He and his sister are singing along and dancing to the music.

I would definitely recommend Kid’s Personalized Music. They have a ton of CD titles to choose from, including a new Disney collection. In addition to their website, they can also be found on Facebook.

* I received a free CD in exchange for this honest product review.
